End of an Era

In 1991, the Atlanta Braves won the NL West. Since then, they'd won every division title they'd been allowed to (this excludues the 1994 strike season). Today, the Mets' win over Florida eliminated the Braves from title contention. I'm guessing a few articles are going to be slapped together about what's changed since the last time a non-Atlanta team won the division. The thing that struck me the most though was the fact my little brother has never seen Atlanta not win their division. The little guy was born in 1992, a year into the Braves' streak. That boggles the mind (for me anyway. Since you guys don't know The Boog [short for Booger, so it's not pronounced like Boog Powell] it probably doesn't mean a whole lot to you)
